Orthopaedic Workshop Artisan

Main tasks:

1. Designing, making and mending orthopedic shoes
2. Designing, making and mending shoe raises
3. Designing, making and mending arch supports
4. Team advice and support in making AFOs.
5. Ensure effective training of all workshop staff.

Work experience & skills:

Two years’ experience of relevant meeting.

Practical experience in shoe making  

Experience in a busy environment

Ability to work cooperatively with other trades with good team building skills

Effective negotiation and mediation skills, analytical and problem solving skills, decision making skills, effective verbal, presentation and communications skills
