The prosthetics and orthotics unit compliments other rehabilitation services. Following surgery, clients who need Orthopaedic appliances can be fitted and trained in the P&O unit.

The P&O unit provides not only AFOS, and artificial limbs but all types of accommodative, corrective and supportive devices.
The Orthopaedic Technologists measure, fabricate, and fit patients with both upper and lower artificial lower limbs (Prostheses). Beneficiaries include patients who have experienced amputation either as a result of trauma, congenital deformities and or through surgical procedures.

- Through knee prostheses
- Canadian prosthesis/Hip disarticulation

The Orthopaedic Technologists at CoRSU measure, fabricate and fit patients with Lower and Upper Limb Splints and Braces (Like Ankle Foot Orthoses/ AFOs), wrist and forearm splints. Patients include those with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal disorders that require added support to aid their walking. Orthoses fabricated include:
- Cock-up
- Knee, Ankle, Foot Orthosis (KAFOs)
- Ankle, Foot Orthosis (AFOs)
- Knee braces
- Insoles
- Raise/compensations
- Mouth brace
- Clubfoot ankle foot braces
- Abduction braces
- Calipers
- Mouth braces
- Boots
Repairs can be done for all devices.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, Management and Staff of CoRSU Rehabilitation Hospital, I regret to inform you of the departure of Mr. Davide Naggi who has been CoRSU's CEO for the past 5 years (2017-2022) but has moved on from CoRSU's service at the end of September 2022 after completing service of his last employment contract. Working with Davide has been an incredibly insightful experience and we appreciate his distinguished service at CoRSU Hospital particularly his commendable efforts in expanding the Hospital's network of donors and partners and standing with the indigene patients over the years. As we move forward, we will continue building onto his achievements, and we wish him the very best in his future endeavors.
