A licensed pharmacy, X-ray and ultrasound, and a laboratory, all on the hospital site.
Overview
Pharmacy and diagnostics is made up of three units: pharmacy, radiology and laboratory. Together they provide laboratory, X-ray and ultrasound investigations and manage medicines for the hospital.
In 2024 the hospital acquired a new ultrasound machine and a new EEG machine, which led to the opening of an EEG clinic. The laboratory received a fully automated chemistry analyser, a semi-automated immunology analyser and a slide dryer, funded through the Father Ambrosoli Foundation’s “You Are Not Alone” project.
Our pharmacy unit is licensed by the National Drug Authority to carry out the activities of a retail pharmacy. The unit is responsible for:
The radiology unit is fully operational. Its core work is to perform X-rays and ultrasound scans on patients, as recommended by their doctors, with the professionalism that helps each patient get the right medical management.
X-ray services include spine, upper and lower limb, skull, abdominal, pelvic and chest X-rays.
Our laboratory unit carries out microbiology, parasitology and clinical chemistry tests on samples collected from patients. It also provides blood transfusion services when a patient needs them.

Children aged five and under are treated free at CoRSU, and older children at a subsidised rate. Gifts from people like you make that possible.
