Giving questions

Honest answers before you give.

Receipts, security, giving for a purpose and giving from abroad. If your question is not here, ask us.

Frequently asked

Questions about giving.

Will I get a receipt for my gift?

Please ask for one. After you give by mobile money or bank transfer, call +256 761 002 111 or email customercare@corsuhospital.org with your name, the amount, the date and the transaction reference.

CoRSU has not yet published its receipting process online, so our customer care team will guide you.

Is my gift secure?

Online payment is not yet enabled on this website. The giving panel on the donate page does not take a payment, and it does not collect or store any card, mobile money or personal details.

Until online giving is switched on, please give through one of the routes listed under ways to give, and contact the hospital directly if you want to confirm any detail before you send money.

Can I give every month?

Yes. Online monthly giving is not available yet, so you set it up through your bank or your phone. See monthly giving for the steps.

Can I give for a specific purpose?

Please talk to us first. CoRSU has not published a list of named funds, so if you would like your gift to support a particular service, such as children's surgery, rehabilitation or fistula care, call +256 761 002 111 or email customercare@corsuhospital.org before you give.

Where can I see how CoRSU reports on its work?

CoRSU publishes annual reports that describe the year's services, results and partnerships. You can read our annual reports and publications.

Can I give from outside Uganda?

CoRSU has not yet published instructions for international transfers. Please email customercare@corsuhospital.org and the hospital will advise you.

Several international organisations also support CoRSU's work. See giving from outside Uganda.

What do the suggested amounts pay for?

They are suggestions only. CoRSU has not published the cost of individual treatments, so this website does not link an amount to a specific item.

The one published figure is from the 2026 CoRSU Disability Walk appeal, which put the average cost of treating one child at about UGX 4 million. That covers surgery, therapy, assistive devices and follow-up rehabilitation.

Still have a question?

CoRSU has not yet published a dedicated fundraising contact. Our customer care team is the first point of contact for every question about giving.
