Electroencephalography (EEG) services
A painless test that records the brain’s electrical activity, used to help diagnose epilepsy and other seizure conditions.
Overview
About electroencephalography (EEG)
Electroencephalography (EEG) records the electrical activity of the brain through small sensors placed on the scalp. The test is painless. It helps doctors to diagnose and monitor epilepsy and other conditions that cause seizures.
In 2024 CoRSU acquired a new EEG machine, which led to the opening of an EEG clinic at the hospital.
Clinic days can change, so please call the hospital to confirm when the EEG clinic is running before you travel.
