Smile Train is, with Transforming Faces, a primary donor for cleft lip and palate surgery at CoRSU. Families of children born with a cleft receive surgery without paying for it.

Cleft lip and palate surgery
Smile Train funds cleft lip and palate repair at CoRSU. The hospital’s 2018 handbook recorded a contribution towards around 300 procedures a year at that time. Patients come from across Uganda, many after community awareness drives.
