Ezekiel's parents walked the journey together

A worried first week

Ezekiel was brought to CoRSU when he was just one week old. His parents were very worried and did not know how to take care of their baby. Both stayed positive and decided to walk the journey together.

Care at CoRSU

At CoRSU the family received care from the medical team, including counselling, nursing care, nutrition education, surgery and therapy services.

One statement stayed in their minds throughout. It came from the nutritionist they met at the Nutrition Clinic.

“The Nutritionist told us to love our baby, and all the rest will be easy.”

She adds that they were intentional about it. They loved him, and he was able to receive every service at the right time.

“We never missed any appointments, we fed him as guided by the Nutrition team, we took all the necessary advice until our child was operated and healed.”

Ezekiel now

Ezekiel's parents are very happy and thankful to the CoRSU medical workers for the care they have received. They are particularly thankful to Smile Train and Transforming Faces for sponsoring his treatment.

In November 2024 Ezekiel turned three. His family brought him to CoRSU to share his birthday cake with the staff.
